Experience Steelhead fishing on Elk Creek, Erie County, PA. Come fish some of the nicest water this stream has to offer and enjoy Steelheading at its finest. We can provide two single rooms and one double room plus cooking facilities, all in a very comfortable setting with magnificent scenery.

Gudgeonville Lodge is located on 70 acres in Erie County, PA. Bounded by half of the Ox Bow formed by Elk Creek and the 160 year old covered bridge, the Lodge is in the middle of four prime fishing holes.

We hope to provide the very best fishing experience on the Lodge's approximately 3/4 mile of Elk Creek by limiting the number of fishermen to four at any one time. We also provide golf carts to get back to the creek for people with mobility limitations.

Although we favor catch and release, so that the most fisherman have the greatest opportunity, we also understand that 70% or more of Steelhead die of natural causes each year. So for those that wish to keep their catch, we have a cleaning station and scales. Since the sport depends on the clubs that hatch the Steelhead, we feel it is important to donate 2% of gross revenue to those clubs annually.

For those who wish just to enjoy the valley, the Lodge is available on a daily or weekly rate in the off season.
